Antitrust Statement
The purpose of the FAIA Community is to discuss issues related to the business of insurance that may affect insurance agents, including the members of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, insurance companies and consumers. In doing so, we should keep in mind the mission of FAIA, which is to serve the needs of Florida insurance agents and consumers by promoting a healthy and competitive insurance environment.
In order to avoid any possible violation of state or federal antitrust laws that prohibit boycott, coercion, restraint of trade and other unfair business practices, we should not engage in discussions, either in these communications or in private conversations, of the plans or contemplated activities of our individual agencies or the companies we represent.
