Introducing the New FAIA Website: Built for You

By Dan Francis posted 4 days ago

After years of planning, collaboration, and thoughtful development, we’re excited to introduce FAIA’s newly redesigned website—built to make it easier for you to find what you need, when you need it.

While the look and feel may seem familiar, the functionality behind the scenes—and the improvements to your experience—are significant. Our goal was simple: create a cleaner, more intuitive site that helps members quickly access products, education, advocacy resources, and events.

Here’s what’s new:

Easier Navigation, Cleaner Experience

One of the biggest improvements is simplified navigation.

We’ve reorganized the top menu to make it more intuitive and grouped related information together. Each major section now includes a consistent side navigation menu, so you can easily see all pages within that section—no more hunting through inconsistent “quick links.”

Whether you’re looking for education, advocacy updates, membership information, or products and services, you’ll be able to move through the site more efficiently.

A Smarter Resource Library

Our Resource Library has been completely restructured.

Previously, different types of resources lived in separate libraries. Now, everything lives in one unified system, giving you:

  • Improved search functionality
  • Filter options by category, year, and file type
  • Easier access to Advocacy resources, Education materials, and Agents Confidential content
  • Clear indicators for member-only materials

You can filter results quickly and refine by what matters most to you. Member-exclusive resources are clearly marked, and you’ll be prompted to log in when needed.

The new system is designed to work more like modern websites you use every day—making it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Improved Event & Education Search

We’ve also enhanced how you search for classes and events.

Instead of a traditional calendar view, events are now searchable and filterable—in line with current web standards. You can search by:

  • Date range (this week, this month, next three months, or custom dates)
  • Location
  • Virtual vs. in-person
  • CE availability
  • Category
  • Keyword search

This allows you to quickly narrow down offerings that meet your needs—whether you’re looking for CE this month or planning ahead for upcoming programs.

Major events like Convention now have dedicated, streamlined pages that feel like event-specific mini-sites. Once you’re on an event page, you’ll find:

  • Clear navigation specific to that event
  • Schedule, speakers, sponsors, and hotel information
  • A prominent “Register” button at the top
  • The goal: fewer clicks and faster access to what matters.

Reimagined Products & Services Section

The Products & Services section has been reorganized to better reflect how members actually use FAIA offerings.

New categories include:

  • Agency Efficiency & Operations
  • Consumer Resources
  • Coverage for Your Agency
  • Market Access
  • Technology
  • Utilization Bonus Program

Each Preferred Provider now has a standardized, easy-to-read page format. If a provider participates in the Utilization Bonus Program, that’s clearly indicated.
Most importantly, information is now dynamically managed—meaning updates happen consistently across the site. This helps ensure you’re always seeing current, accurate information about the programs and partners you rely on.

Quick Access Where You Need It

We’ve kept key tools front and center in the top navigation, including:

  • Community Access
  • Manuals
  • Your Cart
  • Member Sign-In

The homepage also features:

  • A “What Are You Looking For?” section to guide agents and prospective members
  • A live feed of upcoming events
  • Newsroom updates
  • Highlighted resources

Everything is designed to reduce friction and help you get where you need to go faster.

What’s Next?

As with any major website launch, this is an ongoing process. We’ll continue refining and improving the site based on member feedback.

If you notice anything that isn’t working as expected—or if you have suggestions—please let us know. Your input helps us make the site even better.

We’re proud of this next step for FAIA and excited about how the new website will serve you in the years ahead.

Explore the new site and let us know what you think!
